April Adams training with Charles Dao at Icon Sports Performance on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. A little kicking to get the blood flowing. There are so many things going on in this movement: Keeping your guard up works the arms and shoulders, rotational kicks work the abs and lower back, having to balance works all the little muscles throughout the entire body, the kicks is working the glutes, quads, hamstrings, calves, shins, and all the foot muscles – not to mention benefits of interval training.
April’s intensity is outstanding. Even at 29, she still really gets after it. April also does a fantastic foxy boxy.
